Greenspace SOS provides professional landscape, grounds maintenance and estate services for organisations across South Wales. From ongoing maintenance contracts to landscape installation, site clearance, external works and environmental enhancements, we provide practical solutions tailored to the needs of each site.
Our services support the complete lifecycle of outdoor spaces — from installation and establishment through to ongoing maintenance, improvement and restoration. We work with housing providers, businesses, public bodies and community organisations to create and maintain safe, attractive and environmentally responsible landscapes.
As a non-profit Community Interest Company, profits from our commercial services are reinvested into delivering social and environmental benefit across South Wales, including free and supported services for people and community groups who need additional support.

We provide a range of landscape, grounds maintenance and estate services for organisations across South Wales, from ongoing maintenance contracts to one-off improvement and installation projects.
Estates and Grounds Maintenance
We provide planned grounds and estate maintenance for housing associations, businesses and other organisations across South Wales.
Our services include grass cutting, hedge and shrub maintenance, weed control, seasonal horticultural work, leaf clearance, litter picking and the ongoing care of planted and communal areas. We can develop maintenance programmes around the individual requirements of each site, from regular scheduled visits to seasonal and responsive works.
New Development Landscape Establishment
Newly completed landscapes need appropriate care during their establishment period to ensure lawns and planting develop successfully and remain in good condition.
We provide post-completion landscape maintenance for new housing developments, including scheduled mowing, appropriate feeding, pest management, monitoring and ongoing horticultural care. Our approach helps protect newly installed landscapes, improve presentation for residents and provide a clear record of maintenance throughout the establishment period.
Landscaping & External Works
We deliver landscape installation and improvement works for new developments and existing outdoor spaces.
Our services include turfing and lawn installation, planting schemes, raised beds and planters, fencing and gates, paths, drainage improvements, rain gardens and sustainable drainage solutions. From individual improvements to larger landscape projects, we can manage and deliver works from initial planning through to completion and ongoing maintenance.
Biodiversity and Landscape Enhancement
We help organisations improve the biodiversity and environmental value of their land while creating attractive, practical and manageable outdoor spaces.
We assess existing sites, identify opportunities for improvement and develop practical enhancement plans tailored to the landscape and its future use. This can include habitat creation, native and wildlife-friendly planting, wildflower areas, changes to maintenance regimes, rain gardens and other nature-based improvements.
Where appropriate, we can also deliver the improvements and provide ongoing management to help them establish and develop.
Site Clearance & Estate Services
We provide practical estate services and one-off works to help organisations manage, restore and improve their outdoor spaces.
Services include vegetation and overgrowth clearance, neglected site restoration, litter and fly-tip clearance, seasonal leaf clearance, communal area upkeep, fencing and gate repairs and other responsive external works.
We can also coordinate specialist services including tree works, drainage and associated groundworks, providing clients with a single point of contact for a broader range of outdoor estate requirements.

We provide establishment maintenance for lawns at newly completed Beacon developments, helping protect new landscapes during their critical first year. Through regular maintenance, feeding and targeted pest management, we have improved lawn condition, eliminated leather-jacket infestation, and helped increase successful resident sign-off.

Cerebral Palsy Wales - Estate Maintenance
We provide scheduled maintenance to keep external areas clean, safe and accessible. Our work includes vegetation and weed control, maintaining access points and communal areas, car park upkeep and pressure washing, delivered using zero-emission battery-powered machinery.

Pen y Fai Community Council - Public Footpath Clearance
We carried out extensive clearance works to restore access to public footpaths that had become heavily overgrown and unusable. Works included grass cutting, bramble and vegetation clearance, tree work and reclaiming path boundaries, allowing the routes to be safely reopened for the local community.

Tata Steel - Wellbeing Garden
Tata Steel commissioned us to design and create a wellbeing garden for staff at its Port Talbot site. We transformed an unused, overgrown area through landscaping and new planting, lawn restoration, privacy fencing and garden furniture, while retaining and enhancing the site's existing environmental features. We also supported the development of a sustainable volunteer-led maintenance plan to support the garden's long-term care.

CJ Construction - Water Butt Installation
We installed rainwater harvesting planters at homes on a new development in Port Talbot, capturing roof runoff and using it to support planted areas. The system helps reduce reliance on mains water, manage surface water more sustainably and introduce additional planting and biodiversity into the development.

Beacon Housing - External Works
We carried out external improvement works at a new housing development for Beacon, installing new garden gates and rotary washing lines for residents. The project formed part of the practical finishing works required to ensure the new homes and their outdoor spaces were ready for use.
